The Only Way To Learn Astrology

A question that has been asked by many is, how do people actually become astrologers? There are many guides to study astrology, but that is via text and in the end, what do you do with it? Astrology, unlike other qualifications, courses, degrees etc does not need to be studied and understood from your lecturer, you do not need to attend classes to become ‘good’ at it, in fact, the only way to learn astrology, is by doing it yourself.

Unfortunately, astrology is not well received by everyone, so deciding to learn about it and to become an astrologer may result in person’s criticizing you, it is much like religion, atheism, deism etc; some believe in it, others just simply don’t. The whole concept of astrology should be taken from the same reference point as others things in your life, if you do not keep an open mind, you will not be able to see all the possibilities. When starting in the field of astrology, talking to other astrologers who are well established will enable you to learn from them, always remember that astrology can bring forth prejudice, do not always take to heart what is said, rather listen carefully and make your own conclusion.

Astrology does require some natural talent but , the only way to learn astrology is by studying concepts given in texts, by talking to others persons in the same field and then, by sitting by yourself and teaching yourself that which you understand, that which you want to figure out, and maybe even that which others have never thought of before. Many years ago astrology may have cost a pretty penny, these days, although somewhat costly, the best and only way to study astrology effectively is through online resources and purchasing of the essential items that you may need. By doing astrology yourself, even if you are a novice, you understand more of something that few persons truly know about.

Tools used for astrology include, but are not limited to, the natal chart, an ephemeris astrology dictionary or encyclopedia and a tarot deck. Yes, many of these items are found in the 3D world, but having something tangible to work tends to be the better option, practicality and practicing enables a person to grasp concepts and ideas much faster. These items will also enable one to learn astrology in a practical sense. Finding an only way to study astrology is then simply just to follow the basics, find resources online, and get the personal equipment you need to practice. In the beginning, you may not necessarily understand much, but then again, what is ever perfected without practice.
